As engaged as we are in responding to calamities and emergencies, we strongly believe in institutionalizing and mainstreaming Disaster Risk Reduction nationally, locally and at the grassroot levels. A-PAD contributes to assisting the Disaster Management Centre and other relevant stakeholders in formulating and reviewing policies that ensure national events such as examinations, elections etc are conducted with minimum impact from potential interruptions.

Furthermore, the platform represents the private sector and initiates inter-sectoral discussions with the state in safeguarding business practices, achieve resilience in a sustainable manner.
