DRR Awareness for Youth and Children – Hambanthota

Empowering  youth  and  school  children of   Ambalanthota   in   Basic   First   Aid, Fire Training and disaster awareness, a series of workshops were conducted by A-PAD Sri Lanka in partnership with the Assistant Director of DMC, Hambanthota District. Reaching out to the youngsters in spreading the word of the importance of being well prepared, potential disasters that   would   affect   their   geographical surroundings and how well can they overcome the impact of such disasters were discussed.
