A-PAD Management Headquarters Representative visits Sri Lanka

Ms. Megumi Kuwana, representing the Asia Pacific Alliance for Disaster Management Head Quarters, visited Sri Lanka in order to engage with the partners of the Sri Lankan platform. During her visit, Ms. Kuwana met with officials from the private, government and humanitarian sectors in understanding the current progress of public-private partnership towards sustainable and resilient development. In the spirit of exchanging knowledge and expertise, Ms. Kuwana wishes to engage in a research study on the impacts of A-PAD’s presence in Sri Lanka and the way forward in terms of catering to the masses both locally and internationally. During her visit, Ms. Kuwana also engaged in monitoring the outcomes of activities carried out by the A-PAD Sri Lanka platform and provided further insights to effective implementation of activities.
