A-PAD Provincial Platform Support COVID-19 Emergency Response

A-PAD Sri Lanka Northern Platform was instrumental in moving into action to provide much needed equipment for health sector officials and supporting staff. On a request made by Mr. K. Mahesan, Government Agent of Jaffna; gloves and bottles of Sanitizer were provided to the Thaavadi Village medical officers in their process of house to house COVID-19 tests. Though there were hardships in arranging the required resources , A-PAD was able to reach its local partners to organize the needful which helped to rejuvenate their local economy.
