A-PAD Mission to Nepal
With the intention of expanding A-PADΒ Country Platforms in the Asia PacificΒ Region, an A-PAD team of officials visitedΒ Nepal to seek possibilities of establishingΒ A-PAD Nepal. Discussions were held withΒ the private sector, government, military,Β volunteers and the aid agency networks.Β Concept of A-PAD was briefed to potentialΒ stakeholders and discussions pertaining toΒ country specific models were deliberated.Β It was evident that a lacuna existed whichΒ A-PAD could support establish a platformΒ for private sector engagement in disasterΒ management. Extensive discussions wereΒ held over the three consultations.
