“Accident Free Zone” unveiled at Kinniya Bridge

The “Accident Free Zone” initiative was birthed from an idea spoken by the Medical Superintendent of the Base Hospital  during  the  monthly  meetings that  have  been  held  in  the  past  with A-PAD Sri Lanka. The Superintendent stated that there have been many road traffic accidents occurring in this zone almost  every  week,  simply  due  to  the lack  of awareness  given  to  the general  public. He urged the necessity to create a solution that would enable Accident Risk Reduction at the Kinniya Division. Thus A-PAD SL supported  to create a billboard poster which was inaugurated by members from the A-PAD Korea platform on 25th May 2018.
