Special Corona Care Facility for Pregnant Mothers – A Commitment from A-PAD

Family Health Bureau, the National Agency providing maternal and child health care to pregnant mothers of Sri Lanka has initiated a project in establishing a Corona care Facility for Mothers. The facility has completed renovations and is currently been equipped to accommodate pregnant mothers tested positive for COVID-19. With the possibility of this segment of pregnant mothers requiring special care, the government’s proactive measures are highly commendable. The challenges in making this facility viable requires private public partnership. A-PAD has committed to support this endevour in partnership with its private sector membership.
