A-PAD Honoured by Eastern Province Governor’s Visit to Office Premises
On the 25th of February 2022, A-PAD Sri Lanka had the privilege of hosting Honorable Anuradha Yahampath, the Governor of the Eastern province at the A-PAD SL office premises in Colombo.
During her visit to the office, Hygiene packs, Maternity packs, Children’s Psycho-social packs and COVID-19 wellness packs were handed over by Mr.Firzan Hashim, the Country Director of A-PAD SL, for the benefit of the communities in the Eastern Province. The Governor stated that she was very grateful on behalf of the people of the Eastern Province for the generous contributions from A-PAD.
Mr. Hashim also gave the Governor a tour of the office premises, where he showed her the Search and Rescue (SAR) area. The Governor then expressed her interest in seeing some SAR drills at the Trincomalee beach when A-PADs SAR Team of 72 members (civil & military) start training next.
