Citra Innovation Lab Launches “ShaRe Hub” Platform

The first phase of the ShaRe Hub platform was released for use by the Humanitarian Country Team (HCT) on Friday 10th August at the Citra Social Innovation Lab in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Representatives of key partner organizations, including UN agencies, International NGOs and NGOs and Development Partners, were in attendance. The soft-launch marked the opening of ShaRe Hub for use by the core group of HCT member organizations and the Community of Practice.The Sahana Relief Coordination hub or ShaRe Hub is a platform that aims to improve coordination between agencies during response, act as a potential resource mobilization tool and improve information sharing between responding agencies. Developed by the Sahana Software Foundation using Sahana EDEN software, ShaRe Hub allows users to log humanitarian needs and responses, commit to needs outlined in the platform as well as host related information, such as reports and situation updates, creating a more effective and concerted response to disasters.
