Community Resilience in Managing Rainwater ~ Awareness in Kuchchaveli, Trincomalee

APAD-SL convened a meeting in Kuchchaveli, Trincomalee on “Community Resilience in Managing Rainwater” under the guidance of the Chairman of the Kuchchaveli Pradeshiya Sabha, Mr. A. S. Sajith. Members from local government authorities, private sector and individuals participated in the discussion which focused on the drought that is prevalent in the East. The dialogue led towards identifying the gaps that need to be met in terms of overcoming the effects of drought. Mr. A.S. Sajith provided substantial tips on curbing water and the importance of Rain-Water Harvesting Systems.
